Hola! What's a Boracay trip without a Food Trip? Nonsense! So as a self-declared foodie, I have to check out the new spots in the island. There are some that I wanted to re-visit but I guess, we went on a busy month so there was a queue which we could not bear. But these new discoveries are great as well and surprisingly, yummy finds!
First things first, the popular four-cheese pizza in Two Seasons at Station 1. Since we came at dinner time, we were not able to line up for the queue as it was closed early so we just had a take out of the four-cheese pizza which was so good. Once you try it, you'll realize why there's a hype.
Then I had to find this popular Maya's Restaurant by the beach in Station 1. It would have been better if we dined during sunset but also the tables were full and we had a weird table setting under a tree. Nonetheless, the shake from Jony's which was served in the restaurant soothed our thirst from walking. It was a good ambience though it's a bit pricier and the servings were small but the flavors were great especially the way they made their Filipino dishes which had a twist on it.
Another new place we discovered which has the same management as the Maya's is The Pig Out Bistro. It was simply easy to locate these places as they're just on the road and the drivers of e-trike knew the location. This bistro is my best discovery in Boracay. Their menu was great and as much as we wanted to try everything but we just opted to get one for each of us. Their burger was glorious! It was the best one I have eaten for quite a while. A must try!
Then we had lunch also in Cielo Restaurant and Bar at Shangri-la Boracay. Of course, it was good also since they make fresh homemade pizza from brick oven.
Lastly, we had to try this Instagram-popular cafe by the influencers, the Blackfish Coffee Bar. I must say that the ambience was cool. The coffee was good but not that impressive. But maybe, I should have tried others since they have weird and unique coffee flavors like watermelon coffee.
Hope you enjoyed reading my Boracay Food Crawl and if you have some suggestions or queries, feel free to comment below or email me on happygoloca@gmail.com.
Love and Peace.
