For Italian food lovers like me, having Eataly in Dubai is such a heaven sent. Eataly's concept was to put all Italian food (ingredients, tools, etc.) in one place with regards to high-quality which simply explains the unique setup when you walk in to the store and you'll be surprised that it is not only a restaurant. You can find a grocery in the store and also coffee stand and ice cream stand or gelato in their language. The best thing about this store is that you can actually get freshly made pasta and of course, the wide variety of Italian goodies which they are truly most proud of because they are amazingly good. Everything in there is heaven in your tongue! From coffee, gelato, pasta, pasta sauces, and desserts. Also, if you are a Nutella lover, they have an area just for Nutella desserts although you can find Nutella jar everywhere but you must try their creative ways to make your Nutella experience better.
They are taking pride for their Italian confectionary too which is Venchi which has been passed on to generations since 1878.
Certainly, they have everything in Eataly and it's like shopping in Italy. They have also wide variety of Italian beverages and even fresh bread aside from fresh pasta. They even have the tools for your kitchen. What more can you ask for? Really! And I am sure just like me you can not leave this place empty handed for sure.
Aside from the staple pasta and pizza which you always get in Italian restaurants, I wanted to try their Pollo Arrosto (roasted chicken) and man, it was so good. The thing with Italian food is the herbs actually and from my first bite, I can definitely tell how the herbs were put together to put up such amazing flavour to the chicken. Even with their roasted potatoes, it is the herbs! And as what I have said before, you know it's an authentic Italian pizza from its crust and of course, it did not disappoint my expectations. Plus there is artichokes. Even the pasta which is Lasagna did not fail me. I must say that this on my top list for the best Italian restaurants in the country. And if I were you, I suggest that you eat first in their restaurant and you will surely hit the grocery after while munching on your gelato because you will be so convinced to get something after your Eataly experience. If this is what Italy tastes like, how much more when I get there someday. Just can't wait!
Love and Peace!
