Mac & Cheese is one of my comfort food. Although I am very picky with this because the only Mac and Cheese that I really like is from Kenny Rogers. Unfortunately, I could not seem to find anything better than that.
It is also difficult for me to find a perfect recipe for this one because if you search on Google or Pinterest, you would find a variety of this dish. But after experimenting, I have finally done a good one for emotional emergencies in case Kenny Rogers is not accessible. So I am sharing this easy recipe with you but please bear with me because when I cook, I am not the professional one and I do not even measure the ingredients.
Ingredients:
Shell Macaroni
Butter
All-Puspose Flour
Full Cream Milk
Garlic Powder
Mozzarella Cheese
Cheddar Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Salt & Pepper
Procedure:
1. Cook the pasta as per the instructions. Once done, drain and set aside.
2. In a pot, melt the butter like 1/2 cup for 500g of pasta. Mix the flour (1 cup) or until the texture is not dry enough. Then add the milk. Whisk them all until it boils.
3. Add the garlic powder, salt and pepper.
4. Add the Cheddar Cheese, Parmesan, and Mozzarella. Whisk it altogether under low heat until it turns into a cheesy texture.
5. Mix the pasta with the sauce.
