ASIAN: DAI PAI DONG

I have always been meaning to check this place after seeing its photos in Zomato- my ever reliable source for good restaurants. And they did not disappoint. Upon entering the place, you will be amazed with the ambiance and interiors. Feels like you've just entered a Chinese temple.

I must admit that I have to work more in taking a great flat-lay and food photos. Anyhow, as you can see, we celebrated a special event, hence, the covered label on the cake. It is Oreo Overload cake from Bloomsbury's- where I get the best cakes in town. I love how they design and present their cakes and cupcakes. Plus, it is very compact which is the critical part because not all pretty cakes can be like that.

Shrimp Wonton Noodles- It is definitely a savoury soup noodles.

Dai Pai Dong BBQ Assortment- I recommend this dish since you will be able to get the best of everything. This is composed of Crispy Roasted Pork Belly, Crispy Chicken, and Cantonese Roasted Duck. I swear, its crispiness and succulent flavour are something you'd die for.

Dai Pai Dong Fried Rice with shredded duck- Well, sometimes all fried rice taste almost the same but since there's shredded duck, then that made a big difference.

Har Gow Shrimp Dumplings- This is the hardest part for me. I always find a hard time in choosing which dim sum to get especially if I'm working my order on a budget but since this seemed different, then I took it. It was good and well done. They actually have a dim sum lunch which I have yet to try because I seriously want to experience eating as much dim sums that I can.

Overall, the restaurant is amazing, although, it is actually pricey which is expected since it is located in a 5-star hotel. But the food and ambience is totally worth it and perfect for special occassions. I would rate this 5/5 and recommend it for anyone who wants to try a legit Chinese dining experience.

Love and Peace.
