Lately, I am addicted to wrap sandwiches for lunch. My most favourite so far would be Turkey and Cheese which I tried making at home. By luck, the recipe I found turned out to be exactly what I have tried before, particularly the dressing. I am not fond of salads so I was quite hesitant in making the dressing from scratch but fortunately, it was so good. So here's a recipe which you can try and make as your healthy lunch.
INGREDIENTS:
Tortilla Wraps- Large Size
Smoked Turkey
Lettuce
Tomato
Egg Mozzarella Cheese
Dressing/Sauce:
Dijon Mustard
Mayonnaise
Honey
Salt & Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In a hot pan, warm up your smoked turkey. Set aside. In case you do not have smoked turkey, you can use shredded chicken or any meat like ham as an alternative.
2. Put oil in the same pan. Beat your egg and put it on the pan and make your omelette. Set aside once done.
3. To make your dressing/sauce, mix the mayonnaise, dijon mustard, and honey. Add salt and pepper to taste. I do not have exact measurements but just try it first and adjust accordingly.
4. In the same pan, put your tortilla wrap. Make sure you remove the oil from the pan. Warm it up before setting it up. (Oh, that rhymes).
5. Once the wrap is warm and crisp, place your omelette, smoked turkey, lettuce, tomato, and drizzle the dressing all over it before putting the cheese on top.
6. Then roll the wrap and heat it on the pan for at least 1 minute. If in case your wrap does not close, you can put a toothpick to hold both sides together.
The recipe above is flexible. You can add more veggies if you like and you can also try other dressings. But from my research, this is the basic and simplest way to make a yummy wrap sandwich.
Enjoy!
Love and Peace.
