FOOD: TASTE OF ABU DHABI 2017


If you have read before, I have been to Taste of Abu Dhabi since 2014 and we're back at it again last November 9-11, 2017. This time around I did not take much photos because it was quite a busy night when we arrived and I just wanted to devour the delicious food each restaurant offered, well not all, but most.

Since it's our fourth time, we came prepared. We actually checked the menu on their website so that we would have an idea on what to have once we get there and to avoid going back and forth in choosing the best one. Here's the list of the food we got:

Rigatoni Alfredo- Melius (My favorite!)

Spaghetti with seafood- Melius (Their pastas were glorious. I wanted to take more if I could)

Smoked BBQ Beef Brisket Roll- Springbok Butchery (It was so good that we got two of it)

Pad Thai Noodles- Desert Lotus (Asian goodness! It was delicious and the tastiest pad thai ever)

Wing's N' Rings- Hickory's (Though you could never go wrong with wings, their sauce stood out!)

Not in the picture we also got:

Mini Truffle Burgers- Leopold's of London (It was the bomb!)

Carrot Cake - Leopold's of London (The best dessert after everything we consumed)

Quesadilla de Hongos- Loca (I love the texture of the tortilla and the mushroom flavor inside)

Boneless BBQ Beef Short Rib- The Grill (Another favorite! It just melted in my mouth)

The night ended with a groovy performance by Tony Hadley who was an ex-Spandau Ballet vocalist. It was great entertainment though the oldies enjoyed it more because of the 80's vibes.
