Early this morning, I made smoothie bowl and thought of sharing the recipe with you. It is very simple yet nutritious which is very important these days to keep our body healthy. We must fuel our body with the right food as per the food pyramid (see below). As you can see, we need to maximize our intake of vegetables and fruits to give our body the vitamins and nutrients it need.
Here's the recipe of my smoothie bowl for breakfast.
INGREDIENTS:
Mixed berries
Banana
Spinach
Greek Yoghurt
Almond Milk
Chia Seeds
Kiwi or any fruit that goes well with your smoothie for toppings and extra texture
PROCEDURE:
1. Place all the ingredients except Kiwi or your fruit for toppings on your blender, in my case, I used Nutribullet.
2. Blend it all until the texture is smooth.
3. Place the mixture on a bowl or you can drink it straight up.
4. Top it off with Kiwi or any fruits and add more Chia Seeds.
